Sei preoccupato per la sicurezza dei file che condividi con altri utenti via P2P? Prova iMule. È un client molto simile al noto eMule, ma che usa una rete sicura ed una tecnologia completamente diversa.
La rete I2P usata da iMule, oltre ad essere cifrata permette connessioni via tunnel. Ovvero quando ti colleghi a un altro utente per scaricare qualcosa, non ti connetti direttamente al suo PC, ma lo fai attraverso altri utenti. In questo modo risulta molto difficile identificare i due estremi del "tunnel".
Il funzionamento di iMule è molto simile a quello di eMule. L'interfaccia è quasi identica, così come le funzioni di ricerca e di trasferimento. Generalmente iMule non offre la stessa velocità e affidabilità dei client P2P più usati, ma è una buona soluzione se si fa della sicurezza una priorità.
